There is a list in all of our lives—a list of dreams, of little moments of happiness. Sudha had a similar list in her life too. Quite often, we spend our entire lives just trying to fulfill that very list of dreams. While Sudha was moving forward to tick off every dream on her list, Chander, by the age of thirty, had already done everything that society considers one 'ought to do.' He fell in love three times—once for real, once just to pass the time, and once in a live-in relationship. He simply wanted a perfect life.

Musafir Cafe is the story of Sudha and Chander, and of all those people who end up wandering and getting lost in search of a perfect life while trying to fulfill their wish lists.
